Ekarat transformer 1Ekarat transformer site

Ekarat provides transformers with the following range of features to cater for every customers requirements for various industrial and commercial applications.

  • Hermetically Sealed Tank (Fully oil filled) - Hermatically sealed transformer is a transformer design with dielectric insulating fluid in the transformer tank completely sealed and is in zero contact to the atmosphere.
  • Hermetically Sealed Tank (N2 Gas filled) - For high power applications, transformers can be hermetically sealed with Nitrogen gas, known as a nitrogen cushion which is used to compensate the volume variation due to heat.
  • Conservator Tank (Open Type & Rubber Bag Sealed) - A conservator tank transformer provides adequate space for the thermal expansion of insulating fluid as it is being loaded or due to ambient temperatures; acts as a reservoir for transformer insulating oil.
  • Dry Type Cast Resin - the coils of a cast resin transformer are coated with epoxy resin, which is designed to withstand high temperatures.  Heat passes through the epoxy and dissipates into the surrounding air.
  • Dry Type Cast Resin - the coils of a cast resin transformer are coated with epoxy resin, which is designed to withstand high temperatures.  Heat passes through the epoxy and dissipates into the surrounding air.
  • Low Voltage Dry Type (Insulation Class H) - Low Voltage Dry type Transformers are very hot due to the high currents go through the winding. These transformers do not require their winding to be cast in resin but instead use high temperature insulation and varnish to protect from moisture.
